Your page title should define, to the search engines and your visitors, the page content using keywords relevant to the target audience. Just as each page has different content your titles should be different too. Use keywords that support the content of the page and you'll be on your way to a sound SEO strategy.

    Social marketing and blogs can have a positive affect on your search ranking. Take the time to plan your strategy first and avoid the simple path of optimizing URLs that actually belong to another company. All your SEO effort on a URL like yourcompany.blogspot.com is ultimately for blogspot.com. When your brand has grown and you move your site to expand your online offerings, links to your content don't move with you. It's always best to own your own URLs, and better yet, own ones with useful keywords integrated.
  3. Get Linked
    Those all-important links back to your site - these are golden. Search engines weigh all your on-page efforts - titles, tags, content - together with how interesting your content is, based on the number of outside links that point to the page.
